First time there, will never go back. We placed a Togo order for three meals, arrived 10 minutes after pickup time, and the order still wasn’t ready. They said they were waiting on the chicken pot pie. It took 20 minutes for them to make one, and they went to give me my food to leave. I told them I didn’t want to take it because my other 2 entrees (country fried steak and pot roast) were now cold. I asked for the whole order to be remade. They did not remake my food, but instead had me wait another 17 minutes just for them to pour fresh gravy over my food. Talk about cheap and lazy! They were also out of the banana bread, which I paid to come with all THREE of my meals. They threw in extra pot roast and a large baked potato soup for free, not that it mattered. The soup had no flavor and tasted like it had been sitting out for hours, not even warm. There wasn’t even any garnish in the soup. I waited a total of 37 minutes past pickup time, for bland and low quality food. We were hardly acknowledged by the greet staff, except to compliment my hair. We also had a waitress complain to us about working there, saying how the kitchen was slow and causing her to lose money. I’m a server, I understand that, but that is unprofessional to tell a customer (especially who isn’t even yours). This restaurant definitely needs an overhaul.
We placed an order to go. We watched our food sit under the heat lamp. Finally, my husband got up and asked the cashier to check if our food was ready. We waited longer.... another employee went and grabbed our food. But instead of bagging it up, he placed it over in the area to be bagged. This was frustrating because we knew it was out order and we sat, just watching our food sit. If we wanted to stay this long, we would be just dined in. Finally, when we got home, my food was bland and not prepared correctly. There was no cheese in my omelette, which added to the dryness and blandness of an omelette with NO seasoning. I'm very disappointed and will not be returning to this location.
I've been to this Bob Evans on several occasions over the past year and was always disappointed with the food. The food I ordered was not available on 2 occasions, which you think wouldn't happen, and my second choice looked nothing like the picture! Overall not impressed. I was always used to going to Denny's and stopped as the nearest is 15 miles from Woodbridge but I'll make the extra miles for much better food with no disappointment.
Walked in. Not busy. 545 pm. Stood around for a bit. Some people in their uniforms looked at me. One saw me. Didn’t acknowledge me. Called a lady from the back without uniform. Looked at me. Said something to the one that called her. Turned around and left. I turned around and left. We laughed!
Went to silver diner and was promptly taken care of and sat down and enjoy a delicious meal. I laughed again!
Never had a meal in the place. Wanted to give it a shot. Guess not. Still. Walking in was obvious not going to be good. I was by myself. Would I had been with the wife she would’ve not set foot in. Looked dingy. Dirty.
This place has gone down hill. server was nice, and helpful. But the kitchen is terrible, they messed up our order and the food was taste less , how can u screw up hash browns??
