Catons auto repair is the absolute BEST and I will never go anywhere else!!!
This morning I called to see about making an appointment to fix a plastic piece dragging underneath my car. I was amazed that they got me in right away and fixed it free of charge!!
As a woman it's hard to find places that don't take advantage of you or make you feel like an idiot for not knowing what's wrong with your car. The staff here are straight forward and honest, they don't sell you things you don't need, and they take the time to hear your concerns. Their pricing is great and I can always count on them to do a great job.
My first time going there I brought a list of things supposedly wrong with my car with the repairs estimating $1300 (from Midas) so I brought my car to Caton’s to see if they had a better deal. They checked everything and told me that over half of the things listed did not even need to be fixed! I was very relieved that they were so honest and only did repair on what truly needed to be done.
To sum up everything, I have said, I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking to get their vehicles fixed.
I have been going here since 2014, and a I must say this is the best shop I have been to. I found out about this shop through someone I know from church and he said that this is a great shop and will not take advantage of you either. So I came here and I must say they did do exactly what they said they would do. At the time I had a car, loved the car to the end, and it needed some work. Bobby and Adam took a look at my car and they gave me a list of things they would try to do and see what the solution may be. They only charged me for what they do and nothing more. However, if there is something else going on at the same time, they will let you know and fix it. I will also say, for my car of that age and how original it was, there were parts that were failing or would fail during a repair. Not a a problem at all. There have been times I would call about certain problems that would arise and they would say, I could bring it in and they could take a look, most of the time they would give me a date and time of when I can bring it by for a quick look.
I have been going to Caton's for years and have NEVER been disappointed! Bobby and Adam are Great guys and will take care of whatever problem you have. Prices are the best of all Northern VA shops and their service is the best as well!
I saw a review or two about wait times for vehicle repairs or times to bring cars in. I will say this, they are very quick about getting you a good and thorough estimate and quote. I know the times may sound long, but remember this, they are a small shop and they work the best they can. If you make an appointment on certain things, then yes you may have to wait some time, but normally they can get you in quickly. Just recently, I have my truck there and I will say that I may not have had it back in a week or two, but they did the best they could to get it back to me in a timely fashion. There are some jobs I will ask about with them and they would tell me upfront if they can do it or not. Most jobs they can do, some jobs they cannot do.
I explained to the best of my ability the concerns I had over my car and I made it clear that I definitively wanted to wait for an available appointment--no matter how long it would take. I was recommended their service by a family member and I expected a genuine response to my concerns. I spent 10 minutes on the phone with an impatient service representative to only be told in the end that, " he didn't have interest in the job". I genuinely needed help with my car. Worst customer experience-- I have never been treated like that.
