I study and do homework in the quiet room when I need a place to really concentrate. Staff is very helpful. When I bring my laptop, the internet works well, but if I can, the library offers the free use of their PCs for a limited time per visit (I believe 1 or 2 hours), and their PCs connectivity is just a little faster, but not necessarily my first option for a place to concentrate. Still great though!
Great place to kill a few hours quietly.
This is my family's regular library. The staff is helpful, knowledgeable, and works to solve problems. The library offers numerous programs from summer reading to hosting English-speaking practice. The juvenile section is extensive and whatever they don't have they will order. Personally, I use the audio CDs quite a bit to make my commute a little more peaceful and productive. They also keep you alerted to late books through their email system. The thing I find most endearing about CHINN Park library, though, is the hometown feel. You're treated like a neighbor when you go in there. Say hi to the turtle!
The library is really quiet and really big. There are rooms for studying if you're looking for some personal space. It has whatever selection I want when I look for it.
Large library with helpful and friendly staff. They also have a sprawling community room with adjoining kitchen that can be reserved for special events. Also, this is a great place to bring the kiddos as they have a small party area with puzzles, blocks, and PCs with kids games.
