We made an appointment to get an estimate for the replacement of the electric panel and repair some exterior wiring. The electrician arrived on time and was very friendly. He made several jokes about the exterior wiring that had been done by the previous owner of our home and stated that he could make the estimate so that the job could be done in stages. He said that he would email us the estimate. In all my experiences with getting estimates for work on my home, this was a first. Normally, we have received an estimate written on paper, but the electrician was friendly, down-to-earth and funny so I had no reason to doubt that he wouldn't send us an estimate. It's been ten days and I have given up on hearing from this company. I sent them an email through their website about four days after the electrician came just to be sure that they had the right email to send the estimate to. I find it hard to believe in these economic times that we can't get someone to give an estimate for a job and allow us to pay them!
